Assistant Professor, Part Time Derm
New beginnings at the oldest Dermatology Department in the Southeast! The University of Virginia Dermatology welcomes a new Chair, Dr. Lu Le. We are recruiting general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, Mohs surgery, dermatopathology and research faculty. This is a supportive, collegial and well established department with a storied past and an exciting future. We seek motivated, intellectually curious physicians to expand a superb department and best serve a rapidly growing community. The Department of Dermatology at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for a part-time, tenure-ineligible Assistant or Associate Professor of Dermatology to primarily work in our outpatient clinics. A commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and academic scholarship is essential. Requirements: Qualified candidates must have an MD and be ABMS board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology. Candidates dually board certified or board eligible in dermatopathology also encouraged to apply. Potentially one day a week performing dermatopathology available. Must be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Rank is dependent on qualifications, experience, scholarly achievement, clinical service, and research.
