Medical Dermatology Fellowship Mayo Clinic Department of Dermatology in Rochester, Minnesota, is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for a one-year Medical Dermatology Fellowship, starting July 2025. This program is designed to provide comprehensive training in the early identification, clinical diagnosis and management of patients with serious or complex medical dermatologic concerns in inpatient and outpatient settings. The fellowship offers a robust curriculum, ensuring fellows gain specialized expertise and experience in managing complex dermatologic disorders. Throughout the fellowship year, participants will have protected time dedicated to career development activities, including the opportunity to identify and cultivate a niche within the field of medical dermatology. We seek applicants who are passionate about pursuing a career in academic medical dermatology. Applicants must have completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) four-year dermatology residency program by the fellowship start date, which is anticipated to be July 1, 2025. Applicants need to be board eligible or certified to practice in the United States. The Department of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester is renowned for its comprehensive dermatologic care, offering services for both common and rare skin conditions across multiple subspecialty clinics. The department includes over 30 board-certified physicians specializing in three areas of dermatology: medical, surgical, and laboratory. Mayo Clinic handles over 60,000 outpatient dermatology visits annually, along with providing inpatient care to more than 400 patients each year, many of whom present with complex or uncommon dermatologic conditions. Fellows will engage in hands-on clinical experience, working closely with patients experiencing serious and complex disorders in a highly supportive and mentored environment.
