Mohs & Dermatologic Surgeon
The Department of Dermatology at Penn Medicine is recruiting Mohs surgeons in the non-tenure academic clinician and clinician educator tracks within the Penn Dermatology Oncology Center. Candidates will join our expanding, collegial team of dermatologic surgeons and enjoy a clinical practice dedicated to surgery and skin cancer.
Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in Mohs surgery and reconstruction and to building a nationally or internationally recognized career in academic dermatologic surgery. Candidates will enjoy extensive mentorship from our experienced surgeons and faculty to develop advanced surgical skills and an academic niche.
Candidates will benefit from a busy surgical practice and an extensive infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities and a large support staff of nurses, histotechnicians, research fellows and coordinators. Our Mohs surgeons use immunostains for melanoma and other rare tumors, and we mentor candidates to develop these skills.
The Philadelphia region boasts a rich history with excellent restaurants, sports, art, and neighborhoods. Candidates can book easy plane travel to almost any destination worldwide, and train travel along the east coast is fast and convenient.
