Mohs Micrographic Surgeon Opportunity - Division of Dermatology, NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine –
The Division of Dermatology at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine seeks a fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon to join our expanding practice in Suffolk County on Long Island's East End.
Position Overview
This role will focus on Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology, with opportunities for complex reconstruction, collaboration with plastic surgeons and surgical oncologists, and management of high-risk skin cancers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in medical student and resident education and will receive a faculty appointment to NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine with associated benefits.
Opportunity
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to establish and grow a Mohs surgery practice in a region with substantial demand and limited access to specialized skin cancer care. Suffolk County's East End—with its outdoor lifestyle, aging population, and sun-exposed demographic—presents a significant patient base for cutaneous oncology services. Joining at this stage allows the successful candidate to build a robust surgical practice from the ground up while benefiting from the resources and reputation of NYU Langone Health. The East End also offers outstanding quality of life, with renowned beaches, vineyards, and natural beauty.
